Marichasana
Meaning: marichi- the name of a sage

This asana is dedicated to sage marichi
Procedure:
Sit on the floor with legs stretched straight , palms on the floor beside the body.inhaling, fold the left leg up by knee,facing up.as you exhale, take the left hand back and hold the left wrist by right hand.then, bend forward and keep the forehead on the right knee. breathe normally a few times.now, inhale and come up simultaneously releasing the hands.Exhale and stretch the left leg.similarly, repeat the practise by folding the right knee.
