Virbhadrasana

Meaning : This asana is dedicated to lord Virbhadrauntitled
 
Procedure:
Stand erectly, joining both legs and keep the hands on either side of the body. in hale, spread  the hands and also spread the right leg to theright side simultaneously. exhaling, bend theright knee at  90 degrees angle. thigh must be parallel to the ground. look at the right palm and breathe normally a few times.inhale, come up and then exhale while joining legs to come to normal standing .posture.repeat the same on the left side of the body
 
Benefits:
 
  • Strengthens the leg muscles and gives them a proper shape
  • This asana also relieves cramps in calf and thigh muscles
  • Tones up the abdominal muscles
  • Improves on the elasticity of leg and back muscles
  • Strengthens the muscles and joints of the body
  • Massages the pelvic area there by strengthening the reproductory organs
